Ten years ago, our coffee life looked very different. Like many people, I (the husband) usually just ordered an “Americano” or whatever was darkest, assuming that “strong and bitter” meant “good.”
When we got married, we wanted to upgrade our home coffee game. We bought a Nespresso machine, thinking it was the peak of luxury. (I mean, if it’s good enough for George Clooney, right?)
